Have lunch and enjoy some of our tomato favorites at our dine in or out cafe. Live music for your entertainment.

Choose from: Ultimate BLT, Panini Caprese, Quiche with Side Salad, Pasta with Slow Roasted Tomatoes, Grilled Cheddar Cheese Sandwich. Plus for dessert: Green Tomato Chocolate Cupcakes, Lemon Pound Cake with Tropical Tomato Dessert Sauce, or Tomato-Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies.

Marisa Thompson​

Urban Horticulture Specialist

Sandy Gomez and Erica Goldsmith


Sandy Gomez is the mother of 4 children, who are all grown up. Her husband and she have an urban vegetable garden. About 1/3 is in raised beds and 2/3 is in containers. She has a full-time job, but is also a Master Gardener and a Master Food Preserver. She enjoys helping people learn how to grow and preserve their own food in a safe way.
 
Erica Goldsmith is a mother of 2 awesome kiddos, a wife, a student at UNM studying Sociology! She has always been curious about how to preserve food but learning how to do it safely was her biggest concern. She has recently become a Master Food Preserver through NMSU.

Tastings​

Tomato Variety Tastings: you will be able to taste many varieties of tomatoes, of various sizes and colors grown/donated this year. Then you get to vote for your favorite. Past tomato taste winners include Sun Gold, Cherokee Purple, Black Cherry, Early Girl, Celebrity, Yellow Pear, and Paul Robeson.

Recipe Tastings: you can sample some of the recipes from our 12th edition Tomato Fiesta Cookbook. The edition contains new recipes with lots of ways to use tomatoes. TF Cookbook 12th Ed TOC
